Syndicate 1400
Lloyd’s Syndicate 1400, originally formed in 1999 with the name Danish Re, was established primarily to write an international reinsurance portfolio. Since its acquisition by the Max Capital Group in 2008, the Syndicate has diversified into additional classes and for 2010 will write business in six main product areas, both from its box at Lloyd's and via its coverholder office in Copenhagen. In addition, there is a marketing office in Tokyo, Japan.
